由中国国际贸易促进委员会（CCPIT）、中国国际商会（CCOIC）主管，于1956年在周总理的支持领导下创刊，是新份向国外发行的、目前海外订阅量的经贸类英文双效期刊。创刊50年来，一直致力于宣传我国经贸界的成，介绍我国的企业和出口产品，集权威性、商业性、综合性为一体,具针对性强、发行面广、传播渠道多等特点，是国内国际经贸界跟踪了解中国经贸活动、中业及产品的主要媒介。
